How It Works

01

Pattern Engineering

Your design is mapped precisely onto a digital flat pattern of the garment to ensure seamless alignment across all seams and panels.

02

Dye Transfer Print

The artwork is printed onto industrial transfer paper using specialised sublimation dyes that activate under extreme heat.

03

Thermal Bonding

The transfer paper and blank polyester fabric run through a rotary heat press. The dye turns into a gas and permanently embeds into the fabric weave.

04

Cut & Sew Assembly

The newly printed fabric panels are laser-cut and stitched together by the manufacturing team to construct the final garment from scratch.

05

Dispatch

Every custom jersey and activewear piece is inspected, folded, boxed, and shipped Australia-wide.

Quick Answers

01

What is Dye Sublimation?

It's a printing method where dye is turned into a gas and permanently injected into the fabric weave. The print never cracks, peels, or fades, and adds zero weight to the garment.

02

Can you sublimate on cotton?

No. Sublimation only works on synthetic fibres, specifically 100% polyester or high-ratio poly-blends. This makes it the industry standard for high-performance sports and activewear.

03

What is Cut-and-Sew?

Instead of printing on a pre-made blank t-shirt, we print your design onto a flat roll of fabric. We then cut the fabric into pieces and sew the garment together, allowing for true edge-to-edge designs.

04

Can I add individual names and numbers?

Yes. Because the garment is dyed from scratch, adding custom names, numbers, and sponsor logos across the entire run costs exactly the same as a blank background.

05

How long does this take?

Because we are constructing the garment from scratch (printing, cutting, sewing), the standard turnaround time is 15-20 business days from artwork approval.

06

Are there any colour limitations?

None. Sublimation is full CMYK, meaning you can have photographic prints, complex gradients, and unlimited spot colours at no extra setup cost.
